The Oxygen filter is the shelter's source for clean air. It filters out radioactive particles from the shelter's ventilation system.
The oxygen filter may manually be disabled. Without a functioning oxygen filter, characters inside the shelter will slowly begin to die from radiation poisoning.
The oxygen filter can be upgraded 4 times in : Output, Durability, resistance
Output (allows you to host more people in the shelter, up to ...) :
- level 1 (6 people) : 8 wool, 4 valves
- level 2 (8 people) : 6 plastics, 10 wirings, 8 hinges
- level 3 (11 people) : 15 nylon, 10 rubbers, 15 fuses, 5 motors
- level 4 (15 people) : 5DuckTapes, 10 metals, 10 pipes, 10 valves, 20 wool
Durability (increase the durability of the oxygen filter by ...) :
- level 1 (10%) : 8 metal, 4 springs
- level 2 (20%) : 10 leathers, 8 hinges, 6 plastics
- level 3 (30%) : 10 metals, 15 switches, 15 rubbers, 5 DuckTapes
- level 4 (50%) : 5 hinges, 15 wirings, 15 fuses, 10 springs, 10 pipes
Resistance (increase the oxygen filter's resistance to dust storms by ...) :
- level 1 (10%) : 6 wool, 4 valves
- level 2 (20%) : 10 leathers, 8 hinges, 6 plastics
- level 3 (30%) : 20 wirings, 15 circuit breakers, 5 nylons, 5 ducktapes
- level 4 (50%) : 10 metals, 15 nails, 10 valves, 5 leathers, 15 switches
